techniques to achieve higher survival rates
• Development of Phytoremediation Models for different
effluent systems of industrial districts
- Screening species for potential Phytoremediation plants
- Developing a tree based sewage water treatment model
- Developing textiles industries effluent treatment model
- Developing dying industries effluent treatment models
• Development of 2 ha. of Eco-parks and Biodiversity
parks based on the themes such as Nakshatra vanam,
Agro-forestry model, Pollution abetment, NTFP Planting,
Medicinal Garden etc.

• Developing an e-platform for Market Intelligence of Timber Products
•Developing Forest Utilization units in Salem, Courtallam, Dindigul, Thanjavur, Nagercoil for seasoning and wood treatments for preservation & value addition
•Developing Money Yield Table for Important tree species like Teak, Melia, Ailanthus, Neem, Vaagai, Gmelina etc., especially to determine the time to be arvested
